I didn’t post last week because I was on vacation!!! Hooray!! One of the places I visited was Huntington Beach, a spot my family and I return to every few years. This is a shot of some of the supports of the pier there.
The engineering and creativity that go into constructing many of the structures we use everyday are often overlooked. If we stop to look at the details, there is strange beauty to be found. These salty seawater legs are quiet, strong, and, well….supportive when looked at as a part of the whole pier. When looked at by themselves, they are a beautifully abstract work of art.
Good photo , but to make it better crop in and get rid of bridge on top. See what only water and crossed posts look like . That seems more abstract. Play around and see. Solveig
